  • Can you tell us a bit about yourself and what brought you to yoga originally?

  • How does your practice serve you now?

  • How does having a daily practice and a home practice has impacted your life as a yogi and as a teacher? You’re doing a 1000 days of home practice challenge? How is that going? What did you learn from the experience so far?

  • Why does self-study and inquiry are at the center of what you do?

  • What is the first step for teachers that want to start teaching more than asanas?

  • Tantric philosophy seems to influence your teachings. Why? How? Where would you suggest people start if there are interested in the subject?

  • You’re the founder of New Zealand’s most popular yoga website The Yoga Lunchbox. What were your intention when you started this website?

  • You wrote a lot of articles on The Yoga Lunchbox and you’re also a contributor on Elephant Journal. On both platform, you have written some very open, honest and vulnerable articles. How do you decide what to write about? Any advice for teachers that want to share deep and personal experiences? Have you encounter any challenges?

  • You call yourself an Awakened Heart Warrior. What does that mean? How does it influence and direct you work in retreats and 1:1? What is your hope?

  • Any tips for teachers that are just starting to lead retreats? How can they make the experience more potent?
